SAT 1
Sat.1 is German television network owned by ProSiebenSat.1 Media. The channel broadcasts news, entertainment, lifestyle, sports, movies, series and reality-shows programmings.
Sat.1 was launched on 1st January 1984 as PKS. Launch of the broadcast for news, entertainment, culture, music videos and documentaries.
On 1st January 1985, PKS is renamed as Sat 1.
On 13th July 1986, Sat 1 is renamed as Sat.1.
On 1st December 1995, Sat.1 is now 24 hours for the first time.
On 1st March 1996, Sat.1 was rebranded and the new idents were changed, switched to 16:9 image format.
On 1st September 2001, Sat.1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 3rd September 2004, Sat.1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 29th November 2004, Sat.1 was launched in high-definition version.
On 17th March 2008, Sat.1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 16th September 2009, Sat.1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 31st January 2010, Sat.1 stopped its 4:3 image format then became a full 16:9 image format.
On 16th August 2011, Sat.1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
On 12th October 2016, Sat.1 was rebranded and the new logo and idents were changed.
